NEW YEAR WISH (2011)

I'm finally home this afternoon. There's no place like home.


One month of self-exodus is enough for me.


One month of 'living' in advanced foreign countries makes me feel sad and worry about our country's future especially on the gaps between us and these European countries.


The gap is actually widening further apart than bringing closer.


Our political leaders must first of all unite the people, and working on basic principles of politic - to bring up the status of the nation and its people by good Governance via administration and management.


It's time that the leaders put down the priority of self-interests and sacrificing for the people and the nation for the generations ahead. They should make Sabah their home.


I must say I had enough of those slogans, and I really want to see results and performance in the new year ahead.


For the Malaysian government of the day, my new year advice is "Mind The Gap'.

My 2010 New Year Wishes

My wishes for 2010 are:-

1. Queen Elizabeth Hospital (II) (present SMC site) will be fully ready for occupation in 2010 (refer to URL: http://lembagapelawathqe.blogspot.com/2009/12/smc-renamed-as-hospital-queen-elizabeth.html);

2. Construction works on the Twin Tower Blocks at Queen Elizabeth Hospital (I) right adjacent to the new Specialist Building will start latest by end of March, 2010;

3. Sabahan continue to receive with higher priority with more medical allocation and resources from federal government as the medical care for Sabah had been neglected over the last 30 years;

4. Government must act now to stop human resources from draining out of the country;

5. Government scraps forever the plan to implement coal-fired power plant in Sabah, and immediately implement sustainable energy resources plan instead;

6. government becomes truly people-centric, wiser, smarter, and led by good common senses;

7. government must fully revamps the entire education policy, and its ministry/departments administration;

8. Chinese Malaysian community change their perception and expectation on education based on real needs;

9. government led by Datuk Sri Najib, the Prime Minister, must define, promote, and realize the so-called '1Malaysia' concept or ideology by rallying the people working towards the 'goal' of 1Malaysia, and most important of all is that Biro Tata negera must implement the 1Malaysia to all the aspired civil servants;

10. excellent public health and public transportation services at fees affordable by all.

and I have many more that I wish federal or state governments to deliver....................
