'Sabah MCA' Supports Greater Unity Plan (So far)

So far, it looks like the Greater Unity Plan (GUP) has an edge over the 2nd EGM orchastrated by Liow's faction of the party.

With Chau fully supports the GUP with 13 Central Delegates (CD) from his division, the trend of supports is quite obvious then, and the overall likely support for GUP can be around 100 Central Delegates (CD). Sabah has 147 CDs.

Datuk Edward Khoo, the Sandakan Division Chairman cum the State MCA Chairman for almost 10 years, who is known still very much in the Liow's camp, yesterday refused to make comment on his stand openly.

Nevertheless, Penampang Division Head cum State MCA Deputy Chairman, Datuk Paul Kong Sing Chu had earlier declared his stand on 10-Nov-2009 that he urged the three requisisionists to reconsider their decision to proceed with the second EGM, to be held on 28-Nov-2009.

He urged Liow, and the group, to close rank and adopting 'forgive & forget' attitude for the unity of the party.

Let's hope that the political maturity eventually rules in the coming MCA's EGM

Let's show our maturity to the world that MCA lives up to the time of change, and put to practice the real politic at works.

Let the Central Delegates speak and decide, and not the other way round.

Lets hope it goes well; and the MCA leaders, at all level, take the heed of PM Najib's National Day message seriously, and do it!

Let the Central delegates be the final sayer in deciding who to lead MCA, and not a small group not elected or endorsed appropriately by the majority members of the party.

MCA can not afford any more mistakes, and let the rights rule over the wrongs, and move on quickly.

副相纳吉就华人寄居论代人道谦

其实代人道谦有跡可寻,想当年翁诗杰"三萬变三千"事件"開罪"希沙母丁还不是他的前上司馬士打花替他摆平道谦打圆場了事,虽然整个事件错不在翁,奈何身为"小人"不得不"小人該死,冒犯大人"匆匆枉作小人收場.
因为事情处理有欠公平,人民尤其是華社因此都高举老翁為敢於揭发弊端而名声大噪也.
为何翁当時不向希沙道谦呢?因为翁認為他揭人好事,错不在他;更且,他是替人民做正事尽其作为人民代议士的责任而已.
希沙母丁也因此事件自暴其丑丢尽颜面.
据说与此同时,在内阁的馬華同僚部長們涉嫌在内阁会议時未曾揭力维護老翁,导致老翁成众矢之的,一時狼狈不堪,难於招架.
今次副首相替同志道谦实有姑息养奸误导群众之嫌,至於其行动的真正代表性及有效性,有待今後巫統各阶层的言谈,行為举止才能下定論了.

沙巴马华的诉求- 必打丹区会2008议决案

亚庇2008年7月27日沙巴马华必打丹区会通過如下议决案:-

1. 吁请沙巴马华挑选及支持适当人选, 全力以赴, 在来届中央选举中积极参与攻打副总会长及中央委员职, 争取在中央1+3 的合理份额.

2. 吁请马华中央认真考虑下放权力让州领导有充份的自主权有效的处理州内的事务.

沙巴马华必打丹区会寄望中央领袖能根据上述议决给予充份协助与合作.

緣由: 必打丹区会认为基於沙巴马华与中央形体上隔了一道大海, 无形中自然产生对区域事物理解的差距, 半岛同胞也不能亲身体会及感受到沙巴人的处境, 因此在处理事物方面出现与西马半岛不尽相同的需要. 也因此区会同仁也吁请马华中央下放权力让州领导有充份的自主权来有效的处理州内的事务. 区会逼切認为沙巴马华应該进行挑选及支持适当州领袖竞选中央高职, 以便有效的向中央领导反映本州马华的问题及有效协助处理沙巴的民生问题.
