What should be included in the New Economic Model (NEM)?

NEM needs a mindset change/shift in Malaysian especially the bumiputra in order to succeed.

The new mindset is that the country has to adopt meritocracy as a standard guideline, and that means everyone in the land has an equal chance to be successful in a fair and just political and business environments.

There should be no more preferred Malaysian, and all Malaysian are the preferred Malaysian regardless of their ethnicity.

Some one cleverly created the Bumiputra and non-bumiputra status in the early 1970 in order to divide the people wider and deeper.

Can the existing created 'bumiputra' Malaysian accepting this present ecology?

Bumiputra should be a history word of the past and will be discard completely in Malaysia, now! If government wants to transform the country to a new era of high-income state within 10 years period,this is a big challenge confront the bumiputra.


In Sabah, we have been demonstrating the 1Malaysian way of life, and Sabahan are getting further away from its semenanjung counterpart in this aspect of racial harmony, and togetherness.

Today, we don't just lose the brains daily, but are losing labours resources as well. This is serious matter as even Indonesian are not coming to Malaysia as their country can now offer much higher, if not at par, better deal than the Malaysian salary/wage offer.

We are now exporting our local laborers as well as brains to the outside world.

There are 350,000 professionals migrated in the last 18 months as reported in the new papers.

How to turn the situation around needs a lot of acrobatic skill, but one thing for sure, government must not continue to experiment on the education aspect of the country as it's strategically important in the quest for value-chain, and must not be messed around anymore.

Why not PM Najib adopting the 'Blue Ocean Strategy' by appointing only the competent Malaysian to lead the finance and education ministry respectively for a change without the rigidity of the outdated racial consideration?

328后的马华3派能合作吗?

只要3派都能以大局为重,我看不出为什么不能合作。

只要3派不是那些‘不爱党’之流,并且都肯为同志,党,和人民牺牲者;必定都会能够促使合作取得成功的。

这样的局面表示马华的领导层和马华要真正的透明化,民主化,和制度化了。

一个合作机制的确立是整个‘联合’领导的关键性主题。

有前车可鉴,滥用总会长权力也是另一特别需要关注的问题。

总之,3派鼎立的出现是好事。

互相扶持,互相制衡,互相砌磋,而能为马华和华社谋最好的福利,没甚么不好呀!

为什么一定要所谓的‘绝对的优势’才能发挥马华,或总会长的领导才能呢?

中央代表就是刻意要选出3 派的领袖们,通过合作把马华的问题加以解决。

中央代表就是要3派的存在来个互相制衡,互相良性的兢争和学习,才会对马华有利。

如果3派不能合作,我们来个第四派吧?

为了党的民主化,透民化,与及兢争力;我赞同马华百花齐放,一言堂对马华是不利的。

两位马华同志必需为沙巴的差劲医疗卫生设备负起全责

我感到羞耻我党进入沙巴19年竟然忽略了沙巴的医疗卫生设施。

在舒解民困尤其是处理中央医院的大突发事件上,因为不能快速地以‘紧急’个案处理,已经对党及国阵造 成严重政治伤害。

此卫生问题已经
令人民普遍不满政府的’不敏感‘,’无能‘与及’办事不力‘。

追根究底,马华的两位领袖必需负上全责。

这两位同志就是:一是掌卫生部的廖中来同 志部长,另一位是负责掌管沙巴州卫生事务的丘克海助理部长同志(沙巴首长署助理部长)了。

遗憾的是,丘克海助理部长同志,由始至终,却从未对医院的问题透明化的向有关的官员和医院巡察局关心过。

到了今天,除了买下沙巴医药中心的医院大厦外,其他应该做的项目,如增加床位等,都进展的非 常缓慢,并且进度令人焦躁和沮丧。

要知道人命关天,卫生事务是不可怠慢及必须要不惜代价的去发展与执行的。

如不能在来届大选前解决此项大问题,亚庇周边的4国8州选区将会全部 沦陷。更勿论马华在来届大选的胜算了。

这个计时炸弹,国阵不得不察呀!

更糟的是,这两位同志除了失职外,还也有’厚此薄彼‘之嫌;似乎只会特别照顾东海岸某个区会内的医院而已。

试问,以如此差劲的医疗设备与服务,沙巴马华如何向沙巴人民交待呢?

沙巴医疗服务的问题,马华领袖必需负全责



希望沙巴进步党不是趁马华党重选而‘特意’发难给拿督廖中莱难堪吧?

其实,沙巴中央医院(Queen Elizabeth Hospital)是沙巴中央代表们热门关注的大民生课题.

拿督廖中莱及拿督丘克海
必须要为此问题,作出负责和交代了.

拿督丘克海也是沙巴州政府专门负责州医疗事务的州负责联络官。




像类似的‘呼唤’已经属司空见惯,有关当局也不会有快速的反应和后续行动;除非你的‘呼唤’是来自东海岸的某间医院,另当别论啦.

又或者,如果,或除非,你是区会主席;不然你的‘呼唤’是不会受到关注处理。

一个提倡裙带关系的政党,会有所作为吗?党员要花时间搞俸承才能有所‘作为’,如此的‘文化’还能取得甚麽样的成果呢?

因为在其位的马华尊贵部长们都是眼睛长在头上的那类,那些来自‘九品官’的马华同志就是要下情上达,往往是讲了之后,上面无动於衷也无能。就是拿最强大火力的扩音器和他对话,也无济于事。

马华同志如巡察员等根本就没受到马华部长们的适当扶持和照顾,加上有厚此薄彼的不良‘操作’习惯,怎不叫人‘心碎’呢?

如果在来届大选,沙巴变成非‘固定存款’地位时,我们马华负责医疗或卫生的领袖们,不管来自州或联 邦,都要准备因失职而必须辞职谢罪.

再这样下去的积效,迟早马华在 内阁的地位也会受影响!

斗亚兰医院的巡察员主席陈金明局绅虽然不是马华中央代表,但他的影响力不可忽视,那些还有意继续或更上一层楼的马华同志们,切记!

希望沙巴进步党不是趁马华党重选而‘特意’发难给拿督廖中莱难堪吧?

其实,医疗保健是沙巴中央代表们热衷关注的民生课题;拿督廖中莱及拿督丘克海理应要为此作出负责和交代了。

尤其是拿督丘克海,其身为沙巴州政府负责州医疗卫生事务的州际负责及协调官员多年,应该更有责任为民请命,拨乱反正;可惜政绩和表现,令人遗憾。

Even if he were going for other post in the party, he may not have a good chance to win the votes he wanted from Sabah as he is not known by most Sabahan. The reason being Ong Ka Chuan hardly visits Sabah, and this will definitely a big disadvantage for him to garner any Sabahan votes.

Besides, the Ong's agents in Sabah MCA is not very popular with the local Central Delegates.

This was the main reason that Ong Ka Chua lost to gain Sabah votes during the last part election for his deputy presidency contest in October 18, 2008.

He should pay a visit to Sabah now, and open himself to the Sabahan instead of expecting supports without doing anything.

A point to note that he had not been seen, or reported, to have done anything visibly for Sabahan. This issue is a prime criteria in the selection of leaders amongst all the central delegates from Sabah now. They want leaders who care for Sabah.

Even one of the two local Central Committee members, Datuk Edward Khoo, has to watch his back now as he has not been satisfying the needs of his fellow Sabahan in the last 10 years as the State Liaison Chief.

The leaders in MCA of today, or tomorrow, must address the Sabahan issues seriously, and immediately. They must show their sincerity in helping Sabah MCA to rise to the political arena as they should, instead of the lackadaisical attitude practices in the last 19 years.

翁蔡再合作?

沙巴马华九个区部主席支持蔡细历攻打总会长职





各方影响力分布如下:-
蔡细历=9个区部=斗亚兰,必打丹,保佛,实必丹,冰湘岸,兰瑙,斗湖,诗南,根地咬;

翁诗杰=4个区部=亚庇,兵南邦,加拉巴干,京那巴当岸;

黄家定=4个区部=古达,古打毛律,吧巴,实邦加;

廖中莱=8个区部=马鲁都,金马尼士,丹南,山打根,里巴兰,比鲁兰,巴都沙庇,仙本那。


廖中莱派系比较上较其他的弱及不稳定。

曹德安,沈清玉,郑旭宏,江承俊都已经宣布攻打‘中委’职位;而现任中委丘克海却仍未表态要兢选那个职位。有传他欲染指‘副总会长’职,希望他会更上一层,好为沙巴带来更大的改变及进展。据目前的形势看来,他(丘克海)只能控制沙巴州内147票之中的30票左右。他的影响力主要在:
山打根,里巴兰,比鲁兰,及巴都沙庇。

林祥才沙巴拜票第一站取得成功













祥才同志在沙巴的成功不是偶然,他曾担任过一届(2005-2008)的马华沙巴州常年大会的议长.

他说:-
沙巴马华19年来,惨淡经营,是领袖的错,这次的重选,沙巴同志应该做点事了。如要有突破,非换领袖不可了。这次的领袖投选应以能力为主要考量而非群党关系。就以今晚出席的情况来看,中央代表来自各方各派各系,没有难以合作的问题。

以他的诚意及过去的记录,要看不到这位领袖任副总会长是不可能的事,除非他打错’位职。

祥才应该能拿下80%的沙巴票。沙巴票总共有147张选票。

当晚,拿督曹德安和拿督沈清玉双双趁机宣布攻打’中委‘一职。

到目前为止,已经有4名州领袖分别被媒体透露有意攻打’中委‘者有拿督郑旭宏(Silam),拿督江承俊,拿督曹德安,和拿督沈清玉。

It's a refreshing and significant scenario in Malaysian politic that the BN components blasting their own political 'brothers' for 'wrong doings', especially against its own big brother like UMNO and its head in Sabah!

The trend is good for BN if a positive criticism from LDP is accepted in open arm, without hard feeling, of course.

The reverse will mean the government's transformation program is only an insincere proposition.



这是马来西亚政治上,一件有意义及令人感到清新的情境:自由民主党以友党的身份向最强的政治伙伴,呛声批判错处,而且不客气的直冲巫统籍的首长大人来呛呢

如果这样的政治作风能取得国阵的张开大手臂接受或接纳的话,那么这样的发展趋势将对国阵来说是带来健康和正面的。当然
呛声,过后大家都不应为此而‘记仇’而长期交恶。

反之,如果国阵不能‘宽宏大量’容纳为民仗义执言的’兄弟‘政治伙伴,那么政府最近的一些动作如‘政府转型计划’,将该是个不能寄予厚望的’不诚意的提议’罢了。

A Ka Ting comeback will do MCA no good — The Malaysian Insider

The heavy defeat of MCA in 8-Mar-2008 general election was an evidence of rejection by the Chinese community on Ong Kah Ting leadership.

If he were good, of high integrity, and furthermore competent, he shouldn't have had step down after the 308 election; and should have had continue the party transformation thereafter. It's therefore inappropriate for him to return as he'd already been given the opportunity, and that opportunity should be given to other leaders who are waiting at the wings with newer ideas, new ways, and enthusiasm.

After all, the political scenario, and landscape, is different from the days he was at helm.

The battle in MCA now is in electing the candidate/team who can unite all the factions, progressively competent, dedicated, and most importantly, upholding the integrity and
safeguarding dignity of the party, without fear or favour, especially in the aspect of working relationship with UMNO, the backbone of BN.

市县议员的受委任真的是‘实至名归’吗?


市县议员的委任向来给人的印象就是政治奖赏的工具,而其真正的出发点也离不开那奇异的政治决策。

以马华为例,首先必须和区会主席要好,再过来必须要和州主 席有良好的印象,然后推荐信才会有作落。下一步则要看地政部有没人‘不爽’你,没有人反对的话,就‘恭禧’你啦。

因此,有才能的人未必能当上市县议员。或者说,有才干的未必能在其市县议员的委任期内有所表现;其成就将胥视整个地方政府的行政和政治生态而定了。

如果 遇上‘要求高’的选民的话,那么代表执政集团的市县议员可不好当了。但是却对‘有料’的市县议员有利了。人民的参与和这些县市议员的表现息息相关。政府和公共服务领域本来就是‘四方木’一个,要推一下才转一次的。

所以,人民必须时刻关注市县议员的表现,别让他们 那么容易过关。
人民勤力,县市议员也会相应的勤力啦!因为他们做事不到位的话,会对人民如你和我有很大及深远的影响。

话说回头,有多少个被委任的市县议员是真正为民做事的呢?

马华2009常年代表大会- 7-Mar-2010年



到都门者有大约120名,最终赴会者有大约40名。

大部份的中代在某些区会主席们的‘诱导’下决定不赴会。

一些州际领袖甚至‘监督’所属的州代表,以人钉人的方式来确保大会开不成,这样的行动,非常不专业,更加令人两难。

作为党员,‘集体’刻意不出席大会,真得是‘莫名其妙’。

Every thing in Sabah is urgent!



Yes, we need more hospitals in and around Kota Kinabalu (K. K.) area.

Being a State capital, we must have the best hospital in K. K. handling all the elevated medical cases throughout the state, not mentioning that currently the Queen Elizabeth hospital (QEH) is also taking care of the needs of Labuan F.T., and Lawas & Miri from Sarawak.

Money for QEH should be readily available for the Twin Tower block that will provide 400 more beds!

Building more hospitals or upgrading the services in the surrounding areas such as Penampang and Papar districts should be placed as high priority in the government's development agenda in view of the background that the present infrastructure and services had not been matched with the development pace of Kota Kinabalu in the past 20 years.

The 'sudden' lost of the main tower block of QEH in November, 2008 virtually 'crippled' the medical services of the state, however, the situation turned slightly better with the facility then 'acquired' from Sabah Medical Centre; and subsequently, the purchase of the entire SMC building which is now renamed as Hospital Queen Elizabeth II.

The 'immediate' available of additional general hospitals in the near K.K. area such as Kinarut, or Penampang, or Bukit Padang, should relieve the growing pressure of QEH which should now focus more on the 'specialist' cases, or higher level of medical services.

The 10th Malaysia Plan however will start only from January, 2011 which is about 10 months away. In view of the urgency in Sabah, the government led by PM Najib, shouldn't wait for the
10th Malaysia Plan to implement; as these hospitals and medical facilities should have had been in place years ago.

Apart from the hardware, the medical services just like any other services in the state, suffers from the manpower problem, that it's also equally urgent to be resolved immediately; otherwise, the problems remain.
