Have we been focusing on unity as claimed by Tee Keat?

After reading the following news clip in TheStar Online today:-

I wonder if :-
1. The Star's reporter had heard and recorded wrongly, or,
2. Ong TK didn't mean what he said over the topic of party unity.

Every ones in the country knows that MCA has internal problems (between the two top leaders) since the party election on 18th October, 2008.

Even Tan Sri Muhyiddin of Johor UMNO just recently said so in his concern on BN's strength.

It's therefore a complete denial of the truth on the part of Ong TK while Chua Soi Lek openly just said that he had been marginalised and suppressed by the party top officials since elected as Deputy president in last October.

The questions are :-

1.Why do we still have to lie while honesty could be the better way to handle the situation?

2.Why can't we tell the world especially the chinese community about the actual problems, or perhaps simply call for an EGM to re-elect a new leadership immediately instead of the dead- lock which renders the party in limbo?

I honestly can't understand the logic and wisdom behind all these seemingly stupidity "acts" by the top party officials.

One Chinese community leader locally even said to me "Why all these hypocrisies and a waste of time while the country is facing an emergency of financial crisis?" "Does MCA know that the voters have a lot of choices now since march 8, 2008?"

I hope that the leadership can swiftly come out with a positive solution on Unity before it's too late.
